A successful swim team season is contingent on volunteer help!
All parents are encouraged to help out in one or more of the volunteer positions. If you just can't find the time to help out you can pay an additional $200. RHST will be tracking volunteer hours through a sign in sheet at meets. Make sure you sign in every time you work. At least one parent is required to work for half a meet at each home meet. Sign up sheets for choosing specific jobs will be at the parent meeting April 16th at 2:30pm Cross and Crown Church.
| Stroke & Turn Judges |
Need 3-5 people, must attend stroke and turn clinic prior to judging a meet. Split duties at each meet with other judges |
| Starters | Need 2-3 people for home meets only. Need to attend Starter Clinic, its also helpful if you also attend the stroke and turn clinic |
| Scorers | Need 2-3 people for home meets only. Need to attend Score Keepers Clinic |
| Announcers | Need 2-3 people for home meets only. |
| Timers | At least 10 are required for away meets and 18 for home meets |
| Ribbons | Need 3 people for home meets only to apply labels to ribbons and place in a box |
| Set-up / Clean-up | At least 6 people for home meets only. |
| Concessions | Work at concession stand and shop to restock concessions |
| Awards Banquet | Officiate at an away meet |
| Music Coordinator | Provide music during warm-ups and home meets |
| BBQ | 1-2 people needed to BBQ food for concessions at home meets |
| Baked Goods | Many people needed to bring baked treats for home meet sales |
| Meet Theme Decor | 1 person needed to decorate pre-chosen home meet themes |
